Thank you, I have just been looking for information about this subject for ages and yours is the best I’ve discovered till now. But, what about the bottom line? Are you sure about the source?
I think the narrator cries as they have been in love for a while and now it is disappearing so they are upset. I don't think the narrator can be put to any gender
i think that the narrator cries at the end of the poem because previously she has had an argument with her husband. it is the day after and she wants her husband to talk to her and she wants them to patch up their relationship. instead her husband ignores her and doesn't even look at her. therefore she cries as she fears he marrage is over and that it might be all her fault.
I think that the narrator cries at the end because cracks have become visible in the relationship between herself and her partner. it is bringing reality close to home for the narrator and it hits her in the face like a brick wall. she seems to feel helpless because her parter will not communicate with her to sort out their problems and the 'brick wall' isn't moving - she knows this.
I think that the narrator is crying due to her husband acting out of character. I think that perhaps there are cracks in their relationship which are now visible, this makes the narrator concerned and fearing what may happen.
I think that she was crying because her husband or teenage son acted as if she was invisible and she didnt exist they ignored her all through breakfast and went without saying a word to her.
I Think That The Women Is Crying Because Her Husband Is Ignoring Her And Acting Wierd Maybe Because They Had An Arguement Or He My Be Having Affair Thinks Its Her Fault Making Her Cry.
I believe thst the person cries at the end because the content of the poem has upset her. In the poem she depicts a make who is causing her torment. He must have meant something to her. I also agree with 'Hanson's statement. Sexy times (:
